Accessibility Statement

G Crew Automotive is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, and we actively work to identify and fix accessibility issues as we find them.

Conformance status

The Site targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We review the Site using automated tools (axe-core during testing) and manual checks (keyboard navigation, screen reader smoke tests, color-contrast spot checks), and we fix issues as they surface. We do not claim full conformance; the following are known areas we are still working on:

  • The Cal.com booking iframe is third-party content; its accessibility is governed by Cal.com and is outside our direct control. We monitor their accessibility statement and provide a fallback link for users who prefer not to use the iframe.
  • The home page hero is a static photograph with descriptive alt text. There is no animated starfield. The only motion in the hero is a brief entrance animation on the photo and a small decorative sparkle layer; both honor prefers-reduced-motion: reduce and are suppressed for visitors who request reduced motion, leaving the static image in place.

Technical specifications

The Site has been tested with the following tools and assistive technologies:

  • axe-core automated accessibility scanner (target: zero serious violations)
  • Keyboard-only navigation across all primary user paths
  • VoiceOver (macOS, iOS) and NVDA (Windows) for screen-reader testing
  • Browser-zoom up to 200%
  • Color-contrast verification against WCAG 1.4.3 (AA) and 1.4.6 (AAA where feasible)

Approach

Our accessibility approach includes:

  • Semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive devices interpret content correctly
  • Keyboard-accessible interactive elements with visible focus indicators (we use a 2px cyan outline at 2px offset on focus-visible)
  • Alt text on all informational images; decorative images carry empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them
  • Form inputs with explicit <label for> associations, and inline validation messages announced via aria-live
  • Reduced-motion respect: every CSS animation and JavaScript-driven motion checks prefers-reduced-motion: reduce and either disables animation or substitutes an instant transition
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG 1.4.3 (AA) for body text (≥4.5:1) and large text (≥3:1)

Known issues

We track open accessibility issues as they’re identified. If you encounter any barrier while using the Site, please contact us so we can address it. We respond to accessibility reports within five business days and prioritize fixes based on severity and impact.
